Talking about Talking therapies event

Hello,

I hope this finds you well and that you have been able to enjoy some of the recent sunshine. We wanted to remind you about our next patient and public engagement event and invite you to join us and contribute to the discussions.

Talking about Talking Therapies

Following a review in 2013 it was found that there was not equal access to talking therapies for all Southwark residents. As a result the CCG are in the process of evolving a service specification for future talking therapies in Southwark and are seeking the views of local residents to inform its development. Further background details about why we are doing this and what patients have previously told us can be found on the Get Involved pages of the CCG website page.

To explore this with local people we are having an engagement event on 8 April to discuss the options. You can book for the engagement event online directly (or by contacting 020 7525 7888) and the full details can be seen on the flyer which is also attached here: Talking therapy event flyer April 2014.

If you are unable to attend this event but still want to contribute you can complete the online survey as well. You do not have to have used talking therapies in Southwark to be involved, we want to hear from local people to inform how future services can best meet the needs of as many people in Southwark as possible.

We would be very grateful if you could share this information, including the link to the online survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/talkingtherapy), as widely as possible to enable as many different people to contribute as we can.

Kind regards

  • £5     Participants/Volunteers at CoolTan Arts, Unwaged
  • £10   Waged
  • £15+ High Waged
