The programme for the event includes:
10.15 to 1pm
- Lianna Etkind, Campaigns Officer from TRANSPORT FOR ALL giving an update on options for carers and the people you care for on transport issues such as the Taxi-Card, Dial-A-Ride, Blue Badge, concessionary travel, hospital transport services etc. There’ll be a discussion about the problems you are facing with getting ‘out and about’ and chances to share solutions.
- Lambeth Carers Awards – What do you want from this annual event to celebrate carers? It’s been running in its current form for a number of years. Should it change? If yes, what would you like instead? Small group discussions to find out your views.
LUNCH AT 1PM – PIZZA for all, fruit and drinks
1 – 3pm
- Cecelia Tsang, the Carers Hub Advice Case Worker will also be available from 1pm to 3pm for a Welfare Benefits Advice Surgery.
1.30 – 2.45pm
- Opportunities to enjoy a hand massage and/or an exercise session.
