Health, Adult Social Care, Communities and Citizenship Scrutiny Sub-Committee – Survey

Hello,

The Health Scrutiny Committee within Southwark council is keen to find out people’s experience of using health and social care services in Southwark. They would be very grateful if you would complete the brief survey (link also included below), which will be used to inform their report to the hospitals, doctors and health and social care commissioners.

“This comprehensive and wide ranging programme of engagement led by Experts by

We would like to express our gratitude to all those who commented on the consultation and to E by E for the effort and expertise they have brought to bear on this project and the helpful conclusions and insights that have emerged.”

People With Mental Health Issues MORE Likely to Win An ESA Benefit Appeal:

We told you a few days ago that we were carrying out an investigation into whether those with mental health issues were less likely to win an ESA appeal than people appealing a decision solely on the grounds of having a physical disability.

We are somewhat surprised to find out that the former were more likely to win than the later – 41% compared to 38%.

These figures were obtained by the mental health charity MIND and forwarded to the Welfare News Service.
