Experience has provided a rich and detailed response to the proposals set out in the original report. The analysis and accompanying report will shape and inform the development of the final model. We would like to express our gratitude to all those who commented on the consultation and to E by E for the effort and expertise they have brought to bear on this project and the helpful conclusions and insights that have emerged.”
Reorganisation of day services in Southwark
In response to requests made at some of the focus groups, Southwark Council has agreed to hold two information meetings.
Details of the meetings are:
Wednesday 30th October, in Room G01a at 160 Tooley Street, 3-5pm and
Friday 1st November, in the Buddy Suite at the Ortus, Maudsley hospital, 11am-1pm.
Simon Rayner, Head of Mental Health at the Council will be in attendance at both meetings and Mark Taylor, Commissioning Manager – Prevention, inclusion and supported housing, will be in attendance on the Wednesday. The meetings will be Chaired by Experts by Experience.

Become a member of our Focus Group on the role of new technology in bedside care.
The role of technology in patient care: a focus group to explore the role of the Hospedia patient bedside devices in electronic prescribing and electronic patient notes. We are recruiting Patient Adviser volunteers to attend a Focus Group session on the role of new technology in patient care. The Focus Group will look at two new developments – ePMA and e-Noting – and the potential use of the Hospedia Bedside devices. We are looking for people who can attend a Focus Group session on the 7th October, at either 10.30am to 12.30pm or 5pm to 7pm. The sessions will be at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Education Centre in York Road, London, SE1 7DU.
