Opportunity to talk to the public at the STEREOHYPE Event on Saturday 21st June

Hello everyone

I hope you’re all able to enjoy the sunshine, now that it’s arrived.   I thought I would send out a last minute reminder about an opportunity coming up soon.  You may already be aware that Time To Change is running another London pop-up event this month in Brixton.  This event is one of a series that is has been designed by and for people of African and Caribbean backgrounds and is known as Stereohype.    The event will take place in Windrush Square in Brixton from 12 noon to 5pm.

Stereo-Hype Brixton Volunteer Recruitment

If you’d like the chance to practice your speaking out skills by talking to members of the public, then do sign up.  For newbies at speaking to the public there are 4 training sessions next week that you can book a place on and I shall be one of the volunteer co-ordinators on the day to support you.

Let me know if you’re signing up and I’ll make a point of finding you and catching up!

Also, don’t forget that London Champions now have our own Facebook group!   It’s a closed group so you would need to contact our administrator first, so if you use Facebook and would like to join us then please search for Robert Peacock and send him a friend request, then he can add you to the group.

All the very best
