Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital patient engagement workshop

Date: 09 Apr 2014 – 17:00 to 19:00

Location: 336 Brixton Road, London SW9 7AA

This workshop, hosted by Healthwatch Lambeth and Healthwatch Southwark, provides an opportunity to hear about the hospital’s plans to develop a Trust-wide approach to patient and public engagement. This is a chance to give your views on how the Trust can ensure a common approach to involving people across all of its services. The workshop will look in particular at:

– How patients and the public can be involved in shaping the Trust’s workforce through recruitment and training

– Reaching young people, carers, and seldom heard people including individuals from black, Asian and minority ethnic communities, refugees and asylum seekers, and those with English as an additional language

– Maximising involvement in Trust membership

– The role patients, carers and the public can take in designing and assessing the Trust’s services.

Please book online or call them to confirm your attendance, tel: 020 7274 8522. Please let them know if you have any access requirements.
