Skills for Effective meetings – Workshop for Patients

Dear All,

As you are already aware, following feedback from patients NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has put together a programme of workshops and training sessions for patients, local peoples and individuals involved with their Practice Patient Participation Group.

There is a session next Tuesday 25 February (5.30 – 8.30pm at The Employment Academy) in conjunction with the Consultation Institute which will be providing you with the chance to develop your skills and tools to help make your meetings as effective as possible. This will include practical tasks about helping meets to run smoothly, as well as looking at skills to ensure every person is included in the discussions and how to resolve any conflict within meetings. If you are interested in joining us for this session please book your place directly on the eventbrite page for the session. Alternatively you can respond to this email to confirm your place – please let us know the name of your GP practice and if you have any accessibility needs we need to be aware of.

There are also still one or two spaces left for the session tomorrow (Wednesday 19 February, 5.30 – 8.30pm at Cambridge House) which will be providing comprehensive information about the new structure of the NHS following the national reorganisation from the Government and how the voice of patients influences services within NHS Southwark CCG.
