Call Out for Music Performances at Bethlem Sunfayre 2013

This year’s Sunfayre at the Bethlem Royal Hospital takes place on Saturday 6th July, 12pm – 5pm. It’s a friendly event for all the community with music and entertainment, art, refreshments, stalls, walks and talks. Key Changes is programming the music stage and inviting performers of all genres of music to take part. It’s a great opportunity to play on a big stage to an appreciate crowd in the Bethlem’s lovely green grounds: Bethlem Royal Hospital, Monks Orchard Road, Beckenham, Kent BR3 3BX.

Key Changes provides music engagement and recovery services for service users in the community. We offer two pathways to mainstream creative and vocational opportunities: “Music Production” provides structured courses in music technology at college sites (Morley College and Working Men’s College) and creative sessions at professional recording studios. “Music Performance” provides one-to-one support with songwriting and composition, musicianship, vocal technique, rehearsal and recording with music industry mentors at professional studios. Both pathways offer access to performance opportunities with our ongoing programme of concerts and social events, and support with progression routes to continuing study, in-house volunteer training or work experience.
