Transfer of management to Social Action for Health (SAfH) took place 1st Dec 2013, and are pleased to have a supportive management structure to enable us to develop our project better and stronger. Also welcome our new staff member Derron as the Kindred Minds Project Worker.

To build a more involved project by our members and so we have set up a Members Committee of 8 BME Kindred Minds members. They will meet quarterly throughout the year to support and develop the project further.
We are now looking to recruit sessional Co-Facilitators to assist running some of our project activities i.e PoP-In, Crossing Culture events and Women’s Group – see below.
Kindred Minds is recruiting
· Do you want to be part of an exciting mental health project in Southwark?
· Do you want to join our peer led activities at Kindred Minds, a Black & minority ethnic (BME) project?
· Do you want to join our small yet dynamic and friendly team to help deliver and develop our activities?
· Are you from a BME background and have experiences of mental distress or experience of using mental health services.
We are looking for:
Co-facilitators to assist in running and develop some of our Kindred Minds activities, which will also include promoting the project around the borough among BME mental health service users in the community.
